Thank you
Hey there, I just ran into your website by looking up the family motto. I was just wondering if you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints? Thank you so much for all of your information that you have posted on your website. My dad is going to order the book that you mentioned. Thanks again, Heidi Wilder Heidi Wilder

Thomas the Immigrant
Just finished the pictorial tour of the Estate. It must have been breath taking to travel through where they came from. I'm in awe. The only picture I have ever seen was the one in Rev. Moses Wilder's book. Thank you so very much for posting them. Anyways, I do have a question. About 15 years ago I was in the old Boston Genealogy library, and Gary Boyd Roberts informed me that Thomas and Edward Wilder were not brothers. Of course that hindered my stay at the library. Then sometime last year I read an internet article, stating that there is no proof of relationship for the two. The originator of the article did go to England and found that Thomas may have been from another Wilder family. I so want them to be wrong!! Therefore, my question is; In your travels did you come across any information that links these two Wilders? My line flows as follows: Thomas "The Immigrant" John married to Hannah Atherton, John married to Sarah White, Jonas married to two Eunice Beamans, Ga

Visiting England on the 27th thru the 2nd of July
Hi~ My daughter is going to attend the University in Vallidod during the month of july, we are heading over early to do some site seeing in England and Scottland. I started reading up on the Wilder Family history and would love to see the Sulham house. We could probably drive out on Monady or Tuesday if you wouldn't mind a couple of distant relatives taking a few pictures. My Grandfather was Claire Almond Wilder, descendent of Thomas (9th Generation in the US). Thanks Felicie Lewis Felicie Lewis (Wilder)

Maria Runyan Wilder and Isaac Appleby
Looking for any help on MARIA RUNYAN'S first husband, surname WILDER. She had one known child with him, NEWTON A. WILDER, b. abt. 1845 in MI, d. 1890 in Franklin Co, Iowa. I am researching his descendants through his son JOHN EVANS WILDER and JOHN"S daughter GAE L. WILDER KREITZ ROSSINGTON, and can fill in these generations for anyone who is interested. It would be great to learn who MARIA RUNYAN'S parents were, too. I suspect this first marriage ended with Unknown WILDER'S death, since MARIA subsequently married ISAAC APPLEBY in 1858, reportedly in Oswego or Madison county, NY. The marriage to MARIA RUNYAN WILDER was a second marriage for ISAAC APPLEBY too; his first wife was ELIZABETH SUTHARD, with whom he had four known daughters, Nancy Jane, Clarissa, Clarinda, and Mary Ann.. MARIA RUNYAN WILDER and ISAAC APPLEBY had four known sons together, George Wilder, Eli, Myron, and Burt LeRoy. Details below: RUNYAN, MARIA (daughter of ?) B: 22 Feb 1825 in Richmond, Ont

Beebe/Wilder connection
I am doing research on the Beebe family and a Louise Morris Beebe (1878) married Walter Robb Wilder (1874) son of Edward (1843). They married 20 Nov 1902 They had two children, Walter Beebe Wilder (1907) and a Harrison (F 1912) Wilder who married Richard Taylor. Do you have any information on these people? I also have a Sheila Wilder Wallace who married a Junius Beebe (1923-2002) Then there is Louise Wilder Beebe who wrote the book Lucus Beebe of Wakefield and his wife Sylenda Morris. The book was written in 1930. As you can see, there has been a long standing relationship between the two families. I hope you can help me with additional information. Thank you in advance Shirley Beebe Davis twotammy@aol.com Shirley Beebe Davis

Your Website
I found your website very interesting and informative. I sent the url to my sisters and cousin. We are descendants of Thomas Wilder, Edward Wilder's brother. I have been tracing ancestors for about a year and have found several trees on ancestory.com which have descendants of Thomas. It is all very interesting. Unfortunately we do not have pictures of our relatives as our "Wilder" history book "disappeared" in a sibling fight in the 1930's and no one would "fessup" to having it. I am afraid it may have been tossed out along the way. Janice Wilder Knop

My Wilder line
Hi Jim, Great website. My line goes back (all in MA) through my mother, Alice Wilder, George Warren Wilder, Augustine Wilder, Jabez Wilder, Jabez Wilder who moved to Chesterfield after the Rev. Hello
Hi Jim, My name is Cornelia Wilder Sullivan, born Cornelia Wilder Payne. I came across your website and was so excited to see it. The world has gotten so much smaller with technology. My grandmother Helen Wilder and her Sister Laura were the last Wilders in their line, so my cousin and I were given the name Wilder as middle names and I kept it that way when I married because it was so important to her. She took me on a trip to Hingham when I was 19 to see the family sites and visit Hattie Wilder, who was the last Wilder in Hingham. Just 2 years ago my husband and I bought a house in Hingham, so we live here now. I would love to say hello to any Wilders who might be visiting town. I was looking at your photos, and it is amazing how similar you look to my grandmothers family. Thanks for the site. Connie Sullivan Connie Sullivan
