Almond Wilder photo
I am a direct decendent of Nicholas Wilder, and have some documentation to show the same as a dear aunt put it together prior to her passing. I have a photo of Almond Wilder, who appears to be the first Wilder photographed for posterity in the New World. I don't see that the photo is part of your collection. Any interest? I do believe I am a Wilder cousin! Marlyce Ann Wilder

Luetta Ann Wylder
Hello! I just found this site but it looks to be my family line. My line goes, as far as I have tried to trace it as such. Luetta Anne Wylder b april 4, 1886 married to Phillip Spies, buried in Reno Bethel Baptist Cemetery, daughter of Richard Wylder born Feb 16, 1851 Married to Sarah Chaney, Buried in East Waverly Cemtery, Morgan county, Waverly, Il. Then I think it goes to Robert Thomas Wylder born in Greenfield, Green County, Illinios, son of Moses James Wylder from N.C. who had changed the name from Wilder to Wylder. It isn't much but if someone could help me it would be greatly appricated. Am I on the right trail? ConnieThomilson

James Wilder Bevins
I feel as if he is a part of my own family. For those of you on ancestry.com Look up TJBevins tree. It goes back to William the Conquereor and down to regular mortals. This is a line of Warriors for at least 1000 years. James WILDER Bevins Birth 1720 in Staffordshire, England in Drumore, Lancaster, Pennsylvania site of a plaque. His son Joseph and daughter in-law Mary Ann Noblett lived there IN Kentucky. The Noblett family were royalty from Normandy living briefly in Ireland. And so the story continues. The Hugenots live. Wilder's friend was the Butler Brothers maker of the Kentucky Long Rifle. The Butlers were under him when he served in Ireland. I hope to write and publish a book about people. Linda J Harmon

Georgia Wilders
My mother is a Wilder (Houston, Texas) by birth. As we were researching the Wilder genealogy, we got stuck at her great-great grandfather, Caleb Halcom Wilder, Georgia 1838/9-1917, married to Nancy Benefield, Georgia. They lived in Chattooga County and Caleb was part of the Chattooga Volunteers in the CSA. He died in Texas. I found some hints that Caleb's father was a man named James Wilford Willis Wilder and that his mother was Cynthia Jennings Wilder. On James' census records he notes that both parents were born in Georgia. Any information would be helpful!!! kristen.nelson0910@gmail.com Thank you so much. Kristen Nelson
