David A. Wilder line

What a wonderful site My husbands line comes through David A. Wilder 1819-1888 New York. Married to Adah J. they had 4 daughters their firstborn was born in Michigan. Artimesia born abt 1848 Married 1 Charles Wesley Hammond 2 Edgar Alfred Stone. Mary born abt 1851 New York married George McDowell Helen born 1854 -1894 New York. Married Henry Albert Gibbs. Florence Adah, 1863- 1939. Married Henry Keep Kenyon David and Adah raised their family in Adams, Jefferson County New York. Adah and David died there and are buried there. I am looking for any information on David''s parents and Adah J. parents. David is my husband''s gg grandfather. I would love any information you might have Thanks for sharing your info on this site. Moon Family

I live in Tulsa, OK, and attended the 500th Anniversary party at Sulham in 1997. At that time Iris Moon was well but aging, and I wondered how she has been over the past 10- 11 years. Wilder Family of Bell County Kentucky

Hello Jim, My name is Jay H. Wilder. I was born in Pineville, Bell County KY in 1968. My father is J.C. Wilder who was born in Bell County in 1935. My grandfather was Leamon Wilder and he was born in Bell County in 1906. My father has traced our line of Wilders to a William Wilder who was born in NC about 1745 and moved to KY. Our group of Wilders has lived in the southeastern KY area ever since. Your site looked interesting and I thought that I would e-mail you.

Additional Sources Needed!

Hello! My name is Melissa Atwood and I am the 2nd Great Grandaughter of Hezekiah Atwood & Mary Wilder born 1840 VT, daughter of Levi Wilder born 1796 VT . I am attempting to obtain more records on Levi & Zebina Wilder. Thus far, the only thing I have found is a birth record for Zebina and the following reference at http://www.vermonter.com/nek/farms.asp "1809 W. Arthur Simpson Farm 1959 Although the Wilder family had owned land in Lyndon as early as 1790, the present farm of Wilder Arthur Simpson did not come into the family until Zebina Wilder purchased it in 1809. From Zebina it passed to his son, Levi Wilder from Levi to Elias Wilder and from Elias to his grandson, W. Arthur Simpson, who operates it with his son Leland. distant cousin

Hello Wilder Cousins, I am Harold Douglas Wilder of upstate New York. My Grandfather was Wallace David Wilder, son of Thomas Fisher Wilder, etc. back to Abel Wilder and Ascenth and beyond. My Granddaughter is researching the family tree and has got me poking around the web. Would be happy to hear from any of you. I asked her to get me a copy of "The Book of Wilders" for my birthday, July 9th.
