dna testing
my story is that i was raised believing that I was someone else's child. I discovered that Jerry Jean Wilder was most likely my physical father when my mother died. She confided this to her sister when she become pregnant. All I want to do is show my son, his heritage and maybe recover a picture of him because I am told I look like him. I have contacted the surviving family and they have not contacted me. I need a male relative to confirm or negate my relationship with Mr. Wilder. If you know of someone who is willing to do this for me, please, please let me know. Thank you for your time and attention. maxine lund

Wilders in Derbyshire, England
Hi there, I was browsing the Internet this evening looking for information on Sir Nicholas Wilder and came across your Wilder cousins website. My grandmother was Maude Mary Wilder born in Liverpool England in late 1800's. I've traced her family back to a branch of the Wilder family who owned a lot of land around Burnaston, Derbyshire, England. My earliest connection is Richard Wilder b1510 in Twyford ,England who married Alice. They had a son William b1530 'Husbandman of Findern' in Derbyshire, England Now I want to know how we relate to the Wilders of Sulham - there must be a distant link somewhere. Where do you recommend I start my search? Many thanks cousin! Elaine Hughes Elaine Hughes

WILDER relatives
Do you have any connection to WILDER relatives coming from eastern Europe? My WILDER connection is from Brody, Poland. They then emigrated to Vienna, Austria. They were also Jewish. Joyce Eastman

Thank you
Hey there, I just ran into your website by looking up the family motto. I was just wondering if you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints? Thank you so much for all of your information that you have posted on your website. My dad is going to order the book that you mentioned. Thanks again, Heidi Wilder Heidi Wilder

Thomas the Immigrant
Just finished the pictorial tour of the Estate. It must have been breath taking to travel through where they came from. I'm in awe. The only picture I have ever seen was the one in Rev. Moses Wilder's book. Thank you so very much for posting them. Anyways, I do have a question. About 15 years ago I was in the old Boston Genealogy library, and Gary Boyd Roberts informed me that Thomas and Edward Wilder were not brothers. Of course that hindered my stay at the library. Then sometime last year I read an internet article, stating that there is no proof of relationship for the two. The originator of the article did go to England and found that Thomas may have been from another Wilder family. I so want them to be wrong!! Therefore, my question is; In your travels did you come across any information that links these two Wilders? My line flows as follows: Thomas "The Immigrant" John married to Hannah Atherton, John married to Sarah White, Jonas married to two Eunice Beamans, Ga

Visiting England on the 27th thru the 2nd of July
Hi~ My daughter is going to attend the University in Vallidod during the month of july, we are heading over early to do some site seeing in England and Scottland. I started reading up on the Wilder Family history and would love to see the Sulham house. We could probably drive out on Monady or Tuesday if you wouldn't mind a couple of distant relatives taking a few pictures. My Grandfather was Claire Almond Wilder, descendent of Thomas (9th Generation in the US). Thanks Felicie Lewis Felicie Lewis (Wilder)
